More than what you wear.

Nineteen years in a kindergarten classroom will teach you plenty about confidence. It rarely arrives all at once. It grows when someone feels seen, supported and encouraged to trust what already makes them different. Alaina has carried that lesson far beyond the classroom.

Fashion entered the picture much earlier. In high school and college, she was usually working at the mall, drawn equally to the clothes and the employee discount. Years later, she became the owner of a women’s boutique in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. There, she learned the difference between selling an outfit and helping a woman recognize herself in it, along with the realities of fashion buying, merchandising, visual display and running a small business.

In 2022, the story moved online. Alaina began creating content for fashion, beauty, lifestyle and local brands, pairing a stylist’s eye with a teacher’s instinct for making ideas clear. Lesson in Style brings it all together through personal styling, boutique consulting, content creation and social media strategy, guided by one idea: the strongest style and brands feel unmistakably like the person behind them.
